ISRO’s Remarkable Achievements!

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has achieved numerous significant milestones over the past decade, further solidifying India’s position as a key player in the global space arena. Established in 1969 under the aegis of the Government of India with the motto ‘Technology for Human Service,’ ISRO has elevated India’s profile on the world stage, garnering admiration from across the globe. Every Indian takes immense pride in ISRO’s accomplishments.

Gone are the days when India was mocked by the West, including the British, as a land of snakes and eagles. Today, our talented scientists have rewritten history. Over the past decade, India has made rapid progress across various sectors, including international trade, information technology, and infrastructure. While some countries are still grappling with 2G mobile services, India leads the way with 5G connectivity, providing its citizens with high-speed internet access, thanks to advancements in the space sector.

ISRO’s achievements are truly remarkable, having launched 397 foreign satellites in the last decade alone, generating a staggering USD 441 million in revenue. Of the 432 foreign satellites launched to date, 91 percent were launched in the past 10 years.

A historic moment for ISRO was the successful soft-landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the South Pole of the Moon, making India the fourth country globally to achieve this feat. This mission aimed to explore the lunar South Pole, paving the way for future lunar colonies. Another significant mission is Aditya-L1, marking India’s foray into solar observation with a focus on comprehensive studies of the Sun. This mission marks a significant leap forward for India in space exploration capabilities, facilitating the analysis of solar phenomena.

The launch of the Gagan Yaan campaign marks a crucial step towards human spaceflight operations, placing India among the elite group of countries with this capability. Additionally, ISRO has made significant strides in sustainable space exploration through reusable launch vehicle technology, demonstrating its commitment to advanced, sustainable space endeavors.

May ISRO’s trajectory in the space sector continue to soar, bringing pride and prosperity to the nation. Here’s to a bright future in space exploration!
