Popular and efficient MLA of Nilanga Constituency Hon. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sambhajibhaiyya Patil Nilangekar and the beloved Prime Minister of the country Hon’ble Narendraji Modi, ‘Drashti Abhiyan’ was organized by Akka Foundation as a sustainable solution to eye problems in rural areas. Eye examination camps were organized in total villages of Nilanga, Devani and Shirur Anantapal talukas from 20th June to 17th September. More than eleven thousand citizens were given free eye examination in just 90 days through these camps. Along with this, free spectacles were distributed to more than three thousand citizens and free cataract surgery was performed on more than two thousand citizens.
